Hello friends and neighbors,
Thank you for visiting my website. It’s been an honor to represent citizens of Woodbury on the Washington County Board of Commissioners, and it would be a privilege to continue to serve the citizens of District 5.
I was first elected to the County Board in 2008 and was re-elected in 2010 and 2012. With the support of voters in November, I’d like to continue my public service and relationship with the residents of Woodbury. Decisions made at the local levels of government have a tremendous impact on the quality of daily life. I value the trust citizens have conferred in me to make sound decisions on their behalf and feel there is more to accomplish in the district. I have worked on issues related to economic development, libraries, water quality, county roads, parks and trails, diversity and inclusion, human trafficking, veterans and mental health programs. I have also served as chair of the Gateway Corridor Gold Line Commission since 2011.
I’ve been an active member of the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and Woodbury Lions Club for several years. My husband Phillip and I are longtime residents of Woodbury and our children, Sarah and Jeff, are both graduates of Woodbury High School.
I am working hard every day on your behalf. And with the support of voters on Nov. 8th, I’ll continue to be a strong voice of leadership in county government.
